In 1790, Captain Kirk sets out with his brave crew to explore the worlds’ oceans and discover new lands.
What
they end up finding is a gigantic squid-monster that nearly crushes the
S.S. Enterprise, saved only by the quick thinking of the Captain.
Soon
after, the ship is nearly destroyed once more when the crew is caught
by the alluring call of a Siren, who means for them to dash the S.S.
Enterprise on a group of rocks.
And not long before they’re meant
to return home, the Enterprise is set upon by a group of sly mermaids,
looking for men to pull down into the water below… But end up being
considerably less dangerous when pulled onto the ship’s deck.
Bill Shatner has his flaws, but I give him credit on this. He went so far as to sabotage the takes where they didn’t kiss, in order to force them to use one where they did.
